Negatively Empowering Questions

Negatively Empowering Questions

Asking these types of questions can only yield answers that empower you in a negative way, for in general a question empowers and an answer disempowers.

A Question Empowers and an Answer disempowers is the basic premise, we are working on here. so these questions still empower you just in a negative way!

Asking questions like:

Who's to blame?
What is wrong with me?
Why are people so f@#*ed up? etc

will Empower you in a negative way as the answer that comes back will not benefit or serve you. So before asking the universe for anything, ask this first:

How can i ask this in a positive way ?

Example: You are walking along and you trip over twice. Now your response (whether you internally ask it or verbalise it) *might* be :

Why am I so clumsy or stupid? or
What is wrong with me ? or something similiar...

When the answer comes back - it can only be:

* reasons to BE (or that you are) clumsy or stupid or
* things that might be wrong with you (!)

This still empowers you, cause you have asked a question, it's just that the answer is going to empower the negative.

If instead, you asked more positive questions such as:

What's right about this, that I am not getting ?
What am I pretending not to know or ignoring here ?

then, when the universe gives you the answer - which could be something like:

* you're going the wrong way
* you need to slow down or you are going to miss something!

It will be a USEFUL answer that can empower you in a POSITIVE direction.

Other useless and downright DANGEROUS questions:

Note that they ALL contain a negative term!

* what/what else is going to/could go wrong ?
* how hard can it possibly be ?
* why can't I do this ?
* how much longer is this going to take ?
* why is this so hard ?
* why do I feel so crook/bad/rotten/tired/angry etc

So the empowering questions should be basically what is in this situation for me? Lesson? Adventure? Helping someone else? Health, Wealth, Wisdom?
What can I carry away from this? In fact what can I give to others?

Yes - ask questions that can yield a *useful*, empowering answer.

I do agree that our perception of our reality creates our distress with life. However, it is impossible to keep our heads in the sand and there are some truly horrific things that go on all around us. There are inequalities and prejudices within gender, race, education, religion. There is so much going on at any given moment, and not all of it is "positive" for humanity or our environment.

Do you have any suggestions on more positive ways to in a spiritual way when we read each day about human trafficing, or gang rapes where dozens of people just stand - watch - applaud?

After reading the posts, I wonder if my own thoughts of "WHY & HOW" could this happen be a "disempowering question" to the universe?

I don't actually expect myself to be the defender of universal truths, yet in a way that is what we each do. How can I see what is going on in the world, such hate, violence, anger, and much of it focused against women & children - and respond in a manner that can have a positive long term effect?

I question myself often because I do get angry when I hear about these events! I do not hold that anger and let it simmer and grow, but I do think that if our laws reflected a real attitude of disapproval :: the violence would stop!

What shall I ask / pray / speak to empower myself and others as we all work toward humanity healing? Even as we blog and discuss these type of subjects, it is very difficult for me to have sympathy for people who no longer act "human!"

Hi deZengo, what we focuse on grows or expands.
so if each of us focuses on the positive, more & more thats what will expand, our focusing and saying there is so much negative, makes it grow. so if you do see these things and you are not there to do anything about it, just send loving energy to it and the people involved & stayed focused on love even if you don't understand.

This is not burying our heads in the sand this is being the change we wish to see in the world. and cultivating what we wish to expand.

I beleive there is much more love joy and positivety, than there is the contrast of this. It's just the media and the addiction to drama that people have that displays more of the negative, but this contrast also allows those involved to choose again & make a difference.

My answer came to me just minutes after I had typed this, pushed "add comment" and began my drive to work. Here is what the inner guide told me on how to handle dealing with violence & pain and horrific things that most of us could not handle seeing, much less living through.

and I quote, "Be aware of course that all those things exist. They have always existed and they will continue - it is foretold! You must be aware at all times on some level / process. They call it survival skills - call it your inner voice, call it the difference between life and death at times.

After you turn that part of your brain on, you can go about your merry way and enjoy life. Then you can focus your immediate mind processes on find ways to help the problem. Look for positive potential even in the darkest ugliest of situations. GOD does not have limits on what can be used for good.

Keep your faith sister! Change is in the air!"

Thanks JD & very good feedback. It's almost as if I can't help when my emotions are too raw. Must get past that and seek solutions.

While I agree with these as being dis-empowering questions. It is also beneficial to note that the dwelling on them, in the mind's infinite ability to make meaning out of even the air. A mor pointed question may be put in place in the nature of being- very simply "how is your being , in a matter?" Same as the questions out of Babalon 5 that were posed. Which were "who are you?" and "what do you want?" This actually focuses attentivness on matters making power filled thoughts - thus being impact onb the environment around the person and the occuring matter. After all - what is matter? Ponder that one.

It is also worth noting that it is in the how a thing is made present. In the queery of how hard can it possibly be? Pose it as this: Howe is my being the thing which is the difference allowing this to be so?It is that in language - it is the building from the foundation of the language up, which is the distinction in the being able to be what is of and for any situation in every and any circumstance.Allowing, if you will a circum venting out of the mind scape of the impossible( not passable ) to a new terrain of being - ) which is all out of thought, then taken to be reality.

I tend to take the most empowering questions to be : Who are you- How are you ( add more to it )being, doing or having ? What is it ?Why is it be so?The state or condition on a way or manner of being is far more a power filled context. Versus content- after all context is ever thing.
